"Gaza Humanitarian Foundation": Feeding Death to the Starving

With brazen audacity, the United States, alongside its Zionist ally, imposed a mechanism for distributing aid in Gaza that has sparked global outrage following revelations of its bloody intentions. In doing so, the U.S. offered yet another example, as always, of actions disguised as humanitarianism, yet built on deception and manipulation to achieve unethical goals.

Following the uproar over the “Middle East Riviera” project and the global rejection it faced, the United States, in partnership with the Zionist entity, advanced its campaign to displace Palestinians from Gaza through intensified military operations and strict blockade. This escalation has driven people to the brink of starvation, a pressure tactic aimed at forcing Palestinians to abandon their land, history, and identity. In an attempt to cover their use of starvation as a weapon of war through the facade of humanitarianism, the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” emerged—an American creation in every detail.

From its inception and the implementation of its aid distribution mechanism in Gaza, it became evident to the world that the U.S. and the Zionist occupation sought to use this new channel to increase pressure on civilians and push them toward forced displacement. As a result, humanitarian organizations refused to engage in any form of partnership with the foundation.

The United Nations and major aid organizations declined cooperation, stressing that the foundation does not represent a neutral or impartial operation. They condemned the Zionist-led distribution plan implemented by the foundation as a violation of humanitarian principles and international law, warning that it could further worsen the suffering of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. Tom Fletcher, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, stated that the foundation “conditions aid on political and military objectives” and employs starvation as a “bargaining chip.”

Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that as of early Wednesday morning, the number of victims arriving at hospitals due to gunfire near aid distribution points had reached 57 killed and more than 363 injured. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed while trying to access aid to 224, with over 1,858 injured since these centers began operating.

The ministry further stated that since the beginning of the Israeli assault on October 7, 2023, the death toll has reached 55,104, with more than 127,394 injured.

Within just 24 hours, Gaza hospitals received 123 bodies, including three recovered from beneath rubble, along with 474 injuries. Ongoing Israeli airstrikes and bombardments have made it extremely difficult to reach victims still trapped on roads or under collapsed buildings.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense, confirmed that emergency crews evacuated several casualties caused by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and drone strikes—including quadcopter drones—that targeted thousands of civilians gathered near the Al-Shuhada (Netzarim) Junction and Wadi Gaza Bridge to receive food aid from a distribution center run by the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.”

Basal explained that Palestinians began gathering at dawn when Israeli tanks opened fire on them—a pattern that repeated multiple times before intensifying around 5:30 a.m., accompanied by heavy aerial strikes from quadcopter drones targeting starving civilians. This resulted in a massive number of casualties.

He noted that hundreds of people are still attempting to reach the aid center near Netzarim and Wadi Gaza despite sporadic Israeli gunfire, raising fears of further massacres.

A Weapon of War to Force Displacement

The appointment of Pastor Johnnie Moore— a religious advisor to Trump in his first administration—as head of the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation further confirmed its sinister agenda. The move provoked outrage across parts of the West, given Moore’s known support for evacuating Gaza and converting it into a tourist site for the Zionist settlers.

The Guardian described Moore’s appointment as “a controversial initiative backed by the U.S. and Israel.” UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, Mary Lawlor, stated that the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation uses aid as “a weapon of war to displace and humiliate people.” She added, “What we are witnessing is a deliberate strategy that forces people into areas that resemble cattle pens. It is completely inhumane.”

Death Traps Aimed at Breaking a People’s Dignity

The appointment of Moore, following the resignation of  U.S. Navy officer Jake Wood, underscored the foundation’s ulterior motives. Wood stepped down in protest, citing the foundation’s failure to implement an aid distribution plan in Gaza consistent with basic humanitarian standards amid direct Zionist oversight.

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas described the U.S.-Israeli aid mechanism as “death traps and tools of humiliation,” designed to crush the dignity of an entire people. Hamas urged the United Nations to end the lethal mechanism and open internationally supervised humanitarian corridors free from Zionist control.

The same condemnation came from Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), whose Emergency Coordinator, Claire Manera, stated in an official release that the killing and injury of hundreds of Palestinians waiting for food “demonstrates how dangerous, inhumane, and ineffective the new aid system is.”

A Strategy of Ethnic Cleansing

On May 27, the American-run Gaza Humanitarian Foundation began distributing aid. But instead of a humanitarian lifeline, the operation resembled a calculated scheme to lure Palestinians into deadly ambushes and deliberate acts of humiliation. One telling detail: aid workers used loudspeakers to address recipients as “you, the hungry.”

Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, called the operation “organized collective blackmail,” stating that aid was being weaponized in a war managed by a joint American-Israeli company operating in full coordination with the Zionist military. He warned that Israeli forces had set up deadly ambushes under the pretense of creating “buffer zones.”

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor accused the Israeli regime of turning humanitarian aid distribution into yet another component of its “genocidal system” targeting Palestinian civilians.

Scenes of massacres unfolded before the eyes of the world—Palestinians gunned down while simply trying to feed their starving children under the weight of a brutal siege. No one doubted the premeditated nature of these killings, which became a recurring pattern. Videos from the scene exposed the false Zionist claim that “suspects” were among the crowds. A survivor from the massacre revealed how thousands of civilians were encircled by Israeli gunfire, revealing what appeared to be a well-planned ambush. “They let us enter, then soldiers emerged from both sides of the road and started shooting,” he said.

International media described the footage captured by civilians as horrifying: bodies strewn across the ground, civilians screaming for help, and dozens lying dead or wounded. UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini declared that aid distribution in Gaza had turned into a “deadly trap.”

Doctors Without Borders confirmed that “the catastrophic beginning of the food distribution plan proves the failure of the U.S.-Israeli initiative” and warned that Israel is using aid as a means of forced displacement—part of what appears to be a broader strategy of ethnic cleansing.
