The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned on Thursday of the worsening suffering of women and girls in the Gaza Strip, noting that they are facing "humiliating suffering" under the harsh conditions of displacement and the ongoing genocide carried out by Israel against Palestinians since October 7, 2023.

The office explained in a statement published on "X" platform that Palestinians are being killed daily as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombardment, while survivors are forced to face hunger and a lack of basic services, amid limited and insufficient access to humanitarian aid.

OCHA emphasized that the continued Israeli blockade and the denial of fuel entry threaten to halt vital services in the Strip, reiterating its warning of the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of this reality imposed on more than two million people, most of whom are internally displaced.
