The Palestinian Prisoners' Media Office warned today, Monday, that the Zionist enemy continues to prevent lawyer visits to prisoners inside its prisons, stressing that this increases sconcerns about the escalating violations against them being covered up.

In a statement issued today, the Prisoners' Media Office indicated that approximately 500 male and female prisoners have been denied legal visits over the past ten days, a move it described as a dangerous escalation of the policy of isolation and repression.

It explained that the Zionist prison administration has decided to cancel lawyer visits until further notice, exacerbating the prisoners' isolation and increasing concerns about their conditions, especially with the occupation courts postponing hearings and limiting them to holding detention extension and administrative detention sessions only.

The Prisoners' Media added that this measure is an extension of the comprehensive isolation policy pursued by the Zionist enemy since October 7, 2023. This policy also includes preventing family and Red Cross visits, and depriving prisoners of their essential belongings, exacerbating their detention conditions to an unprecedented degree.

With American and European support, the Zionist enemy has been committing a crime of genocide and imposing a total siege on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. This has resulted in more than 187,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 11,000 missing persons, and hundreds of thousands of displaced persons. It also wages aggression against the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
