The Danish shipping giant Maersk announced its decision to review its partnerships with companies linked to Israeli settlements in the West Bank, following a comprehensive review of shipments linked to these settlements.

This decision came after a lengthy campaign launched by human rights and legal organizations in the United States under the slogan "Mask Off Maersk," which highlighted Maersk's role in transporting equipment used to support Israeli settlements.

Activists considered it a first step toward forcing it to sever ties with the occupying state, to which it transports a great deal of military equipment that helps it continue its criminal war on the Gaza Strip.

Maersk announced the suspension of shipments with companies located in illegal Israeli settlements listed in the database of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

With American support, the Zionist enemy's "army" has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 186,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing. It is also waging a comprehensive aggression against the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
