Major General Ali Shadmani, the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, has attained martyrdom days after sustaining injuries in an Israeli attack.

He had been appointed the commander of Khatam al-Anbiya (pbuh) Central Headquarters by the order of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, following the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Gholamali Rashid in an Israeli terrorist aggression in the early hours of June 13.

Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters is the unified combatant command headquarters of the Iranian armed forces, which operates under the command of the General Staff and is tasked with planning and coordinating joint military operations within the Iranian forces.

The veteran military commander was critically wounded in the Israeli regime’s terrorist aggression last week, which also led to the martyrdom of many ordinary Iranians.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced his martyrdom and vowed to avenge his blood.

“By the will and power of God, the path of this steadfast mujahid (fighter) will undoubtedly continue with even greater strength in the hands of the brave soldiers of Islam.”

Martyr Shadmani, the statement said, “was a shining example of a commander nurtured in the school of Ashura and under the guidance of the leaders of the Islamic Revolution.”

The commander will be laid to rest following a funeral procession in Tehran on Saturday, June 28, alongside his comrades, according to the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters.

He is the latest senior Iranian military commander to attain martyrdom in the unprovoked Israeli aggression, which started on June 13 and ended on Tuesday morning.

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the chief commander of the IRGC, Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of the IRGC aerospace division, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of Khatam al-Anbiya (pbuh) Central Headquarters, Major General Gholam-Ali Rashid, are among others to have attained martyrdom since June 13.

In response, Iranian armed forces launched a large-scale retaliatory military operation, True Promise III, which continued in different phases until Tuesday morning, targeting and decimating many critical and strategic Israeli military installations in the occupied territories.

On Tuesday morning, the embattled regime declared a unilateral ceasefire after suffering heavy blows in Iran's retaliatory operations, as also admitted by Israeli military generals.
