The Women's Cultural Authority in Hajjah province organized several events on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet’s Hijrah (Migration) and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
The events highlighted the stances of the Ansar (Supporters) in defending the Prophet (peace be upon him) against the oppression of the Quraysh, considering the anniversary of the Hijrah an opportunity to draw lessons in confronting the forces of polytheism and misguidance.
As well as the historical stage in which the grandson of the Prophet (peace be upon him) rose against tyranny and oppression was reviewed, emphasizing his strong faith, piety, and adherence to the teachings of the Quran.
The events stressed the importance of following Imam Hussein’s example and walking in his path to uphold truth, justice, and the rights of the oppressed and vulnerable.
