The representative of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Yemen, Muath Abu Shamala, affirmed that the Zionist aggression targeting civilian infrastructure proves that the enemy entity only acts to harm people.

In a statement to Al-Masirah TV on Monday morning, Abu Shamala said, "The Zionist enemy has failed because it cannot confront the resistance militarily." He explained that Yemen’s swift response undermined the Zionist concept of deterrence, noting that the enemy is being struck from both Gaza and Yemen despite the geographical distance.

The Hamas representative in Yemen pointed out that the collapse of the Zionist deterrence system is a sign of the beginning of the end for the Zionist entity. He added that the killing of Palestinians continues at a horrific pace—around 100 martyrs per day—which reflects the typical behavior of the Zionist enemy.

He emphasized, "The continued slaughter of our people will only be stopped by a strong and unshakable will."

Abu Shamala concluded, "We are not overly optimistic about any agreement with the Zionist entity, but the resistance is forced to deal positively with proposals in order to spare our people's blood."

Following a series of aggressive Israeli airstrikes targeting civilian infrastructure in western Yemen—including ports and power stations in Hodeidah, Ras Isa, and As-Salif—the Israeli regime escalated its regional military campaign, prompting widespread condemnation and a swift retaliatory response from Yemen.

In response, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a precision hypersonic missile strike on Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport in occupied Jaffa, signaling their operational reach and strategic intent. The strike, which caused major disruptions and panic among the Israeli public, underscored Yemen’s declared commitment to defending the Palestinian people amid the ongoing war on Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly aligned with the Palestinian resistance, carrying out dozens of long-range missile and drone operations targeting Israeli-occupied areas. These actions have played a significant role in destabilizing Israeli airspace and challenging the Zionist entity’s military deterrence.

Hamas, whose fighters continue to face relentless bombardment in Gaza, has found in Yemen a firm ally. The swift and consistent Yemeni responses to Israeli aggression are being hailed by resistance factions as pivotal in undermining the perceived invincibility of the Zionist regime and reinforcing the unity of the regional Axis of Resistance.
