The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Tuesday that they had successfully taken control of an Israeli reconnaissance drone during its intelligence-gathering mission over the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.

This marks a significant development, underscoring the escalating technological confrontation between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation.

In a brief statement, the brigades revealed that the drone was engaged in espionage activities over the area, though they refrained from providing details about the information obtained or specifying the type of drone that was captured.

Since October 7, 2023, Palestinian resistance factions have continued their bold operations against Israeli forces as part of the ongoing “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.
