The Government Media Office in Gaza announced in a press release on Friday that the death toll by the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip has risen. 69 children have died due to malnutrition, while the number of patients who have died due to lack of food and medicine has reached 620.

The statement explained that the Israeli enemy has continued to close the crossings for 139 days, preventing the entry of more than 76,450 trucks of aid and fuel.

This comes at a time when 650,000 children are at risk of starvation, along with 12,500 cancer patients and 60,000 pregnant women suffering from a lack of food and healthcare.

The statement indicated that the enemy targeted 42 food banks and 57 aid distribution centers, and launched 121 direct attacks on relief convoys, resulting in the martyrdom of 877 Palestinians and the injury of more than 5,666 others, with 42 missing persons recorded in "American-Israeli aid centers."

The office held the enemy and its supporting countries, most notably the United States, Germany, and France, fully responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe, calling on the international community to take immediate action to halt the policy of starvation and urgently open the crossings.
