London, the British capital, witnessed one of the largest pro-Palestine demonstrations since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip on Saturday.

The event was unprecedented in its scale and diversity, both on the public and official levels.

This demonstration was organized at the call of the Palestinian Forum in Britain, in cooperation with the Palestine Support Coalition and several prominent British movements opposing war and discrimination. It was part of the 29th National March since October 2023.

Amid mounting public anger in the United Kingdom over the official British position, which is perceived as “silent and complicit” in Israeli crimes in Gaza, the government continues to export arms to the Israeli occupation and provide diplomatic support in international forums.

This situation has sparked growing popular calls to end this complicity and take immediate steps to impose sanctions on the Israeli occupation.
