The United Nations has confirmed that at least 2,895 Palestinians have been displaced from 69 communities across the West Bank since the beginning of 2023 due to the coercive environment resulting from escalating settler violence and access restrictions.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stated: "Between January 2023 and mid-July 2025, at least 2,895 Palestinians were displaced from 69 communities across the West Bank, particularly herding and Bedouin communities, due to the coercive environment resulting from escalating settler violence and access restrictions."

He added, "Overall, 45% of the displaced families were from Ramallah Governorate (1,309 out of 2,895 families), followed by Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Tubas, Salfit, Jerusalem, and Jericho governorates."

He noted that of the 636 people displaced in this context so far in 2025, a third were in the Jordan Valley (215 out of 636 displaced people).

OCHA noted an escalation in settler attacks and settlement activities in the West Bank.

He continued, "Between July 8 and 14, at least 30 attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians were documented, resulting in casualties, property damage, or both."
