The crippling famine continues to wreak havoc on children in the Gaza Strip. Since yesterday, four children have died due to severe hunger and the lack of medical supplies needed to revive them, as food and medical supplies are prevented from entering.

Medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital announced this morning, Sunday, the death of Razan Abu Zaher, a four-year-old girl, as a result of complications from malnutrition and hunger. She is the fourth child to die in 24 hours due to hunger and malnutrition.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza explained that the Strip is experiencing a state of actual famine, manifested in a severe shortage of basic foodstuffs and the spread of severe malnutrition, amid a complete lack of medical resources to treat the consequences of this disaster.

Medical teams have observed a significant increase in death rates resulting from hunger and malnutrition, according to a statement.

Last night, the death of Yahya Fadi al-Najjar, a 3-month-old infant from Khan Yunis, was announced. He died as a result of severe hunger.

The Government Media Office announced that the number of children who died from malnutrition had risen to 69, and the number of deaths due to food and medicine shortages had risen to 620.

The Media Office report warned that 650,000 children are at risk of death due to malnutrition, hunger, and food shortages.
