Free Yemeni districts organized events on Saturday to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zayd, peace be upon him.
During the event, speeches delivered, noting that Imam Zayd, peace be upon him, led a revolution to confront the injustice and oppression that were rampant at that time.
They reviewed aspects of Imam Zayd's biography, his piety, and his connection to the Holy Quran. They pointed out the objectives of his revolution in raising awareness and breaking the state of stagnation and subservience to tyrants and the enemies of the nation.
They emphasized the importance of following the path of Imam Zayd, peace be upon him, in his revolution, his approach, his morals, and his activism in the path of God. They pointed to the importance of learning lessons from the revolution of the ally of the Qur'an in correcting misconceptions and mobilizing the nation to take action against tyrants, regardless of the circumstances.
They also emphasized the importance of commemorating this anniversary, which is associated with a great figure who has had a profound influence on the history and life of the Islamic nation to this day.
They explained that the Yemeni people commemorate this anniversary and sincerely express their adherence to the correct path of faith and the approach of the Greatest Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, his family, and the beacons of guidance.
