As Gaza endures starvation and relentless attacks, Al-Qassam spokesman Abu Ubaida voices fury at Arab silence—except for Yemen, whose steadfastness becomes a beacon of solidarity.

A Voice of Anguish Amid Widespread Betrayal

In a deeply emotional and powerful address, Abu Ubaida, spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, expressed profound sorrow and condemnation over what he described as the disgraceful silence and betrayal of Arab and Islamic nations in the face of Gaza's catastrophic suffering. As civilians in Gaza die from hunger under a tightening Zionist blockade and humanitarian aid remains obstructed, Abu Ubaida's voice has become a channel for Gaza's agony—and a mirror to the inaction of the region.

“This is a humiliating moment in Arab and Muslim history,” he lamented, accusing governments, scholars, and political elites across the Islamic world of turning a blind eye to the suffering of two million besieged Palestinians.

Starvation and Bombs: The Daily Reality in Gaza

The suffering in Gaza has reached unimaginable levels. People are starving to death—a reality some might dismiss as exaggerated, but which Gaza lives every day. “How can you tell the world that a woman died of hunger, or a child starved?” Abu Ubaida asked. “People may claim such stories are false, but they are happening, and Gaza is witnessing them daily.”

Amid widespread malnutrition, with empty stomachs and emaciated bodies, American-made bombs continue to rain down on Gaza’s fragile tents, claiming the lives of exhausted and traumatized children. The humanitarian catastrophe is not just ongoing—it is escalating.

A Message to the Silent: "You Are Our Adversaries Before Allah"

In a scathing indictment, Abu Ubaida declared that those who have remained silent in the face of this genocide are now their "opponents before Allah.”

“You are adversaries of every orphan, every grieving mother, every wounded, displaced, and starving soul. You carry the burden of the blood of tens of thousands of innocent people betrayed by your silence.”

He stressed that the Israeli regime would not have dared commit such atrocities in broad daylight had it not been assured of Arab and Muslim complicity through silence, and emboldened by American and Western backing.

 Not a Time for Flattery

Abu Ubaida's speech was void of any political niceties. It was not the moment to praise rulers or movements. He offered no exceptions. The Palestinians, he affirmed, have felt the sting of betrayal from all sides—especially from their fellow Muslims spread across the Arab world.

Had there been a unified, forceful Arab stand, the Israeli aggression on Gaza might have ended long ago. But the enemy took advantage of the evident submission and disgrace among Arab governments and peoples. “That encouraged it to continue the genocide,” he stated, “and to impose a siege on over two million Palestinians in Gaza.”

A Moment That History Will Not Forgive

Abu Ubaida warned that this era will not be forgotten. “History will not forgive the Arabs and Muslims for this moment,” he said. The Palestinian wound, deepened daily by airstrikes, will only worsen due to the silence and frailty of nations that once claimed to stand against injustice.

Arabs have never tolerated humiliation,” he reminded. “So how can they remain silent in the face of Gaza’s tragedy—one unparalleled in history?” His pain was palpable. His message is unmistakable.

Yemen of the Ansar: The Sole Exception

Amid this landscape of betrayal, one nation stands out: Yemen.

Yemen, along with Hezbollah and the Iraqi resistance, has remained steadfast in its political, military, and popular support for Gaza. Every Friday, crowds gather in Al-Sabeen Square and across the country, chanting for Gaza and affirming solidarity.

Because Yemen, under the leadership of al-Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badruddin al-Houthi, has been sincere and unwavering in its commitment, Abu Ubaida consistently exempts it from the list of “silent, submissive Arab regimes.” He frequently refers to the people of Yemen as the “brothers of honesty”—a phrase he reserves only for the truly faithful.

A Targeted Rebuke: The Hypocrisy Within

Abu Ubaida did not shy away from naming the internal contradictions in Yemen itself. While praising Ansar Allah, he pointed to other Yemeni parties—particularly the al-Islah party (Yemen’s Muslim Brotherhood)—that had long cried over Palestine, only to fall silent when action was needed.

These factions, he said, “chose silence like the rest of the Arab regimes,” revealing their true colors when the time for solidarity came.

Salute to the Loyal

Abu Ubaida offered a direct and pointed salute:

“To our dear Yemeni people in the Yemen of wisdom and faith, to the armed forces, and our truthful brothers in Ansar Allah.”

This, he said, is a recognition of the true and committed among the Arab and Islamic world. According to Abu Ubaida, Ansar Allah not only expressed solidarity but created a new front that shocked the Israeli enemy and the world.

“They established decisive proof against those who remained idle and submissive.”

Yemen’s Role on Land, Sea, and in the Skies

The world, including the Israeli enemy, now recognizes that Yemen has not stood on the sidelines. Despite enduring American and Israeli strikes, threats, and intimidation, Yemen has offered unrelenting support.

Gaza’s plight fueled Yemeni innovation. With divine aid, Yemen developed hypersonic missiles and advanced drones and launched them deep into occupied territory, shaking the foundations of the Zionist entity.

At sea, Yemen achieved an unprecedented feat: confronting the strongest naval forces in the world and imposing a crippling blockade that prevented Israeli-bound ships from passing through the Red Sea. This action forced the closure of the port of Umm ar-Rashrash, causing significant financial losses to the Israeli enemy.

 A Model for the World

With limited resources and dire circumstances, Yemen has become a model of loyalty and courage, offering a lesson for every nation.

“If others had followed Yemen’s lead,” the statement implied, “Israel would have already been erased from the map.”

This, Abu Ubaida concluded, is why he consistently praises Ansar Allah, for standing firm where others have bowed.
