About six Israeli soldiers were injured, one of them critically, as a result of an armed attack in the Gaza Strip on Monday, Israeli media reported.
This attack came less than 24 hours after the Israeli occupation’s military acknowledged the deaths of a technology and maintenance officer and a soldier from the Golani Brigade during Saturday’s battle in the southern Strip.
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth affirmed that Palestinian resistance fighters attached an explosive device to a Namer armored personnel carrier in Khan Yunis, causing it to catch fire.
For its part, the Israeli newspaper Maariv revealed that the resistance fighters emerged from a tunnel opening near the Golani Brigade’s position and were then able to reach the tanker.
