Ansarollah Website. Report | Ali Al-Darwani:
Amid the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip and the rising voices of the world calling for the rescue of more than two million besieged people, the Israeli occupation entity insists on circumventing any real international pressure through blatant and exposed methods, attempting to cover up its policies of starvation, siege, and slow annihilation. It continues to stall on opening the crossings and issues hollow statements about easing the siege through spectacles such as sporadic airdrops and the deployment of a very limited number of trucks, not even enough to feed a single stricken neighborhood.
Israeli Circumvention with a Tactical Truce
In an attempt to absorb international anger, the criminal occupation announced what it called a "tactical truce" lasting ten hours daily, including the areas of Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balah, and parts of Gaza City. Under this truce, the Jordanian Armed Forces—in coordination with the UAE—carried out three airdrops of humanitarian and food aid. However, Gaza residents and eyewitnesses confirmed that some of the aid landed in dangerous combat zones, while others landed on displaced people's tents, causing injuries, including children. Aid organizations indicated that airdrops are a costly and ineffective option, exposing civilians to further danger rather than saving them.
The numbers reveal the deception
On the ground, only 78 trucks have been allowed to pass through Kerem Shalom crossing so far, including 36 for the World Food Programme, six carrying baby formula and diapers, and five for the World Kitchen. Another 47 trucks entered via Zikim, including 20 carrying flour and 11 for the World Kitchen, according to UN sources. The criminal enemy's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has explicitly revealed his intention to maintain only minimal aid flows, attacking the United Nations, which has accused him of obstructing the flow of aid, claiming that the organization "lies and makes excuses."
Dangerous Obstacles Preventing Aid
Netanyahu's attack on the UN came against the backdrop of a document issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), which points to serious obstacles facing organizations operating in the field. These include direct threats to aid workers, dangerous or restricted roads, and the deliberate delay or repeated rejection of aid convoys, which waste time and resources and impede the fulfillment of urgent needs. OCHA also called for more private sector essential goods to be allowed into Gaza, stressing that aid alone is not sufficient for a population of more than two million.
In explicit criticism, the UNRWA media and communications officer asked, "Why use airdrops when we can transport hundreds of trucks across the border?" She emphasized that delivering aid through land crossings is easier, faster, more effective, and less costly. Airdrops alone will not halt the worsening famine, while thousands of trucks are still awaiting the green light from the occupation to enter the Gaza Strip.
The numbers belie the claims
Despite all the media images promoted by the criminal entity, the numbers on the ground denies these claims. Since October 7, 2023, more than 59,921 Palestinians have been martyred, including thousands of women and children, and more than 145,233 others have been injured. Since March 18, 2025, more than 8,755 additional Palestinians have been martyred and more than 33,192 others have been injured. Famine itself has become a deliberate killing tool, with 147 people dying so far from malnutrition and food shortages, including 88 children, amid a near-total collapse of the health system.
Field reports and humanitarian organizations agree that meeting Gaza's minimum needs requires the urgent entry of at least half a million bags of flour, along with 600 aid trucks daily loaded with food, baby formula, medicine, and fuel needed to operate hospitals, water, and sanitation plants. However, the occupation still refuses to allow the entry of cooking gas, which has been completely halted since March 2, and continues to impose strict restrictions on traders and prevent the entry of essential goods.
Saving Gaza Between Seriousness and Deception
Saving Gaza does not require air shows or formal deals. Rather, it requires real pressure that compels the occupation to open the crossings unconditionally, allow the entry of thousands of stranded trucks, secure fuel and supplies, and immediately halt the aggression to enable ambulance and civil defense teams to reach victims under the rubble and on the streets.
Media plays will not save lives; they will only give the occupation more time to prolong the siege and wipe out what remains of life in Gaza. Today, Gaza doesn't need flour bombs dropped from the sky. It needs an open corridor on the ground, trucks entering without restrictions, and fuel to restore life to hospitals and water stations. Every day of delay means more martyrs falling from hunger and disease, after the world failed to protect them from the bombs.
Saving the women, children, sick, and hungry in Gaza today is a moral and humanitarian responsibility that cannot be tolerated. The occupation must not be allowed to kill the people of Gaza twice: once by bombing, and again by starvation under the false pretext of "humanitarian aid."
