In a decisive step underscoring its political and cultural stance, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education on Monday organized a symposium titled “The Nature of the Conflict with the Zionist Enemy.”
The symposium, organized in partnership with key institutions including the Higher Education Information Technology Center and the Preparatory Committee for the Palestine Conference, brought together prominent academics, officials, and researchers.
Deputy Minister Dr. Hatim Al-Duais opened the session, describing the Arab-Zionist conflict as one of modern history’s most complex and enduring struggles, impacting political, economic, social, and technological spheres. He called on Arab intellectuals to deeply analyze the conflict and identify strategies for victory.
Moderated by Dr. Al-Duais, the event featured four main discussions. The first, presented by Dr. Ali Al-Mu’anqi, Dean of Al-Badr College, examined the religious dimensions of the conflict with the People of the Book, referencing the Qur’an and the writings of the “Martyr of the Qur’an.”
Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Hamran, head of the Preparatory Committee for the Palestine Conference, condemned the Zionist enemy’s brutal crimes in Gaza, denouncing the Arab world’s silence amid the suffering of children, women, and the elderly. He praised Yemen’s leadership and people for their unwavering support of their Palestinian brethren and firm opposition to their enemy.
