Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has released a scathing new report accusing Israeli forces and American mercenaries of turning food distribution sites in Gaza into killing fields masked as humanitarian aid.
In the report, published Thursday, MSF states that distribution points operated by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" have become arenas of systematic violence, humiliation, and death.
MSF is urgently calling for the immediate suspension of these operations and the reinstatement of aid delivery mechanisms under the direct supervision of the United Nations.
Drawing on medical evaluations and firsthand accounts from both patients and MSF staff inside two clinics in Gaza, the report documents clear patterns of both targeted and indiscriminate attacks by Israeli military forces and affiliated American contractors against civilians seeking food aid.
According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, the report asserts that these distribution sites are being weaponized for military purposes by an Israeli-American front known as “American Gaza.”
Titled “This Is Not Aid, This Is Premeditated Killing,” the report details how the two MSF clinics repeatedly received mass casualties following each episode of shelling or gunfire near the food lines.
“Children were shot in the chest while simply trying to reach food. Others were crushed or suffocated in the chaos. We’ve witnessed entire crowds being gunned down at these so-called distribution points,” said Raquel Ayora, MSF’s general director.
“In nearly 54 years of humanitarian work, we have rarely—if ever—seen this scale of systematic violence targeting unarmed civilians. This is not a warzone. It’s a laboratory of cruelty. And it must stop now.”
Wound assessments revealed that 11% of injuries were to the head and neck, and 19% to the chest, abdomen, and back—strong indicators of deliberate targeting. In Khan Younis, most injuries were concentrated in the lower limbs, consistent with patterns of disabling rather than dispersing crowds.
With no viable nutritional alternatives left, desperate families are being forced to send their male children—those physically most capable of withstanding the journey and risks—to these deadly locations.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the death toll related to fighting, aid line violence, and emergency hospital arrivals has reached 1,706, with over 12,030 injured since the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" began operations on May 27.
Gaza’s population is now enduring an unprecedented wave of famine and deprivation, triggered by the full closure of border crossings by Israeli forces in early March. These actions have effectively choked the Strip of food, fuel, medicine, and humanitarian supplies.
Backed by unwavering American and European support, the Israeli military has waged a relentless campaign in Gaza since October 7, 2023. The result: at least 61,258 Palestinians killed, the majority of them women and children, and 152,045 injured—a preliminary toll that excludes thousands more still trapped under rubble or lying dead in the streets, unreachable by emergency crews.
