Hamas movement stated that what war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu is planning constitutes a continuation of the policy of genocide and forced displacement through committing further atrocities against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The movement added that Netanyahu’s remarks about his intent to occupy Gaza represent a blatant reversal of the negotiation process and clearly expose the real motives behind his withdrawal from the latest round of talks, despite the fact that the parties were nearing a final agreement.

Hamas stressed that Netanyahu’s plans to escalate the aggression leave no doubt that he seeks to get rid of the prisoners and sacrifice them to serve his personal interests and extremist ideological agenda.

The movement affirmed that Gaza will remain unconquerable and will not submit to occupation or guardianship. It warned that any expansion of the aggression against the Palestinian people will not be a walk in the park — its cost will be heavy and painful for the occupation and its Nazi army.

Hamas called on Arab and Islamic nations, as well as the international community, to reject and condemn these dangerous statements, and to act urgently to stop the aggression, end the occupation, uphold the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, and hold the enemy’s leaders accountable for their ongoing crimes in Gaza.
