The crew of “Eternity C” ship, made up of Filipino and Indian nationalities, met on Tuesday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Honorary Consul of the Philippines, and a representative from the Indian Embassy.

The crew members praised the generous treatment and humane care they are receiving, stressing that they enjoy continuous communication with their families, which reassures them and their loved ones.

For their part, the officials at the ministry affirmed that this humane treatment embodies the religious and humanitarian values embraced by Yemen and is consistent with the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, which emphasize the need to treat all people without discrimination.

The ministry officials also reaffirmed the government’s full commitment to respecting all international human rights conventions and agreements and implementing the highest humanitarian standards.
