The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Tuesday the destruction of more than 52 Israeli military vehicles in the Shuja’iyya, al-Tuffah, and al-Zaytoun areas east of the Gaza Strip.

This followed a partial withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from these areas in recent days.

The brigades confirmed that these losses in military equipment resulted from ongoing combat operations targeting Israeli occupation forces advancing into the Gaza Strip, noting the escalation of the resistance in response to the Israeli aggression.

These statements come amid the ongoing escalation of military confrontations between Palestinian resistance factions and Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.

It comes as part of the Palestinian factions’ response to the genocide perpetrated by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip, with backing from the United States, since October 7, 2023. These atrocities—including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement—have been carried out in blatant disregard of international calls and rulings from the International Court of Justice demanding their cessation.
