The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Jamal Amer, met in Sana’a with Muadh Abu Shamala, representative of Hamas, who delivered a written message from the movement’s leader, Dr. Khalil al-Hayya.
Dr. al-Hayya expressed Hamas’ deep appreciation for the sacrifices of the Yemeni people, particularly Ansar Allah, praising their steadfast support against the Zionist enemy despite severe attacks and hardships. He affirmed Yemen’s unwavering commitment to Gaza and Palestine, emphasizing that geographical distance has only strengthened this bond.
The message highlighted Yemen’s significant role beyond words—through rallies, drone and rocket strikes, and naval blockade efforts against the occupation. Hamas commended Yemen’s leadership, especially Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, for its historic and ongoing support.
Minister Amer reiterated Yemen’s firm position to continue aiding Gaza and warned of surprising escalations in support operations if aggression persists. He stressed the necessity of ending the siege on Gaza and allowing unhindered humanitarian aid.
Praising Gaza’s resistance, Amer described it as a symbol of global jihad and condemned the Zionist enemy’s war crimes and tactics targeting civilians.
Hamas representative Abu Shamala praised Yemen’s humanitarian stance and the widespread popular support for Gaza, calling it an honorable legacy that history will remember.
