What we are witnessing today in the Gaza Strip surpasses—in its ugliness, audacity, and bloodiness—everything that has occurred in human history, given the slogans of humanization, claims of rights, protection, law, etc. For 700 days, Gaza was the scene of a fully genocidal crime, perpetrated by the Zionist enemy, the most hideous and bloody entity in modern history, with the absolute support and full partnership of its allies, partners in the Zionist project.

The report issued by the Government Media Office in Gaza Friday, marking 700 days of aggression, represented a comprehensive indictment. In terms of numbers, it reflected a stark, and brutal reality, revealing the scale of the catastrophe that befell more than two million people, near millions of Arabs and in full view of the world, which witnessed the crime unfolding live for the first time.

These atrocities would not have occurred without the political cover and unlimited military support provided by the United States, which stood as a lawyer and partner in every drop of blood shed. They would not have continued without the silence and complicity of the West in general, which betrayed its long-cherished humanitarian principles and stood by as the most horrific crimes were committed against a defenseless people.

As for the Arabs, the truth of their betrayal and complicity will soon be revealed, and they will suffer from the  Zionists from whome the Palestinians are suffering today.

Statistics are evidence of a racist colonial project that sees the Palestinians as nothing more than a small target, from which the journey to implement what it calls "Greater Israel" begins. This project will not exclude a single patch of Arab land defined and mapped out by the early founders of the grand Zionist dream.

Shocking Figures of the Crime of the Century

With the 700th day of the Israeli enemy's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip marking the beginning of the conflict, chapters of an unprecedented human tragedy are unfolding. Life has become a mere attempt to survive amidst total destruction and death lurking around every corner. The figures released by the Government Media Office in Gaza do not tell the whole story, but they outline an ongoing crime against more than 2.4 million Palestinians living under the yoke of bombardment, starvation, and ethnic cleansing.

Death Haunts the Living and the Dead:

The number of martyrs in this tragedy testifye  the brutality of the Zionist enemy and the uniqueness of its crimes. The total number of martyrs and missing persons has reached 73,731, of whom 64,300 have been brought to hospitals, while the fate of another 9,500 remains unknown under the rubble. Children and women have paid the heaviest price; More than 20,000 children and 12,500 women have been killed, meaning that more than half of the victims of this war are from the most vulnerable groups. Studies and investigations conducted by several bodies, including British universities, indicate that the numbers provided by the Gaza government are far lower than the actual figures. This is subject to the repercussions of the crime, its significant complexities, the difficulty of rescue, the destruction of rescue equipment, and the lack of search and debris removal facilities.

Death has taken many forms, occurred by many means, and its tools have varied. While bombing has taken the lion's share, starvation and disease have also claimed their victims, whose numbers have multiplied, especially in recent months as the enemy has tightened its total and stifling blockade of the entire Gaza Strip. Approximately 376 people, including 134 children, have been killed due to severe malnutrition, amid a blockade that prevents the entry of the most basic necessities of life. Furthermore, 40,000 infants face the risk of starvation due to the lack of baby formula, in a systematic starvation crime unprecedented in modern history.

Even the dead in their graves were not spared. The Israeli enemy destroyed and exhumed 40 graves. Many were perhaps surprised by the figure revealed by the Government Media Office in Gaza, which stated that the enemy stole more than 2,450 bodies from the graves. This is a crime of a kind that international law itself has perhaps yet to classify!

A Systematic War Against the Essentials of Life

The Israeli war machine has gone beyond targeting human beings to eradicate all traces of life in Gaza. More than 150,000 tons of explosives were dropped, destroying nearly 90% of the Strip's buildings and infrastructure. Almost all schools remain, with 95% of the Strip's schools damaged. Those deprived of education by the enemy include more than 785,000 students, completely deprived of their right to education after 13,500 of them were martyred.

The health sector, already suffering under the siege, has suffered a near-total collapse. 38 hospitals and 96 health centers have been destroyed or rendered inoperable, and 197 ambulances have been targeted. Medical personnel, working under impossible conditions, have been directly targeted, with 1,670 of them martyred in an attempt to eliminate all hope of survival.

Not a single educational, health, or service facility remains functioning normally. The enemy sought to eliminate the foundations of life, and is now doing so. It does not want Gaza to survive, nor its people to live.

After 700 days of genocide, recognized by all legal and customary standards, the numbers have gone beyond mere statistics. They are, in fact, stories of lives ended, families annihilated, dreams shattered, and futures stolen. They are living testimony to a genocidal war being perpetrated in full view of the world. They confirm that what is happening in Gaza is not a war against an armed faction, but rather an attempt to erase or expel an entire people from their land.
