In Gaza, death writes its diary in ink and blood, and life becomes nothing more than a struggle to survive amid the rubble of cities and the remains of children. Here, the sound of explosions never ceases, nor do the cries of mothers fade from memory as they search the ruins for fragments of their children.
Tuesday brings yet another scene documenting the crime: children torn apart by injuries in Al-Shati Refugee Camp, after Israeli warplanes struck a gathering that carried nothing but fear. On Al-Nasr Street in western Gaza City, Israeli tanks advance, opening fire on Palestinian bodies. From the wreckage of a destroyed home, the voice of a grieving father rises, crying: “I can’t hear you”—searching for his little ones in the rubble, his strangled scream seeming to embody Gaza’s collective pain.
Numbers That Became Absent Faces
The Ministry of Health reported that in this past Tuesday alone, 38 people were killed and 190 were wounded, while dozens remain trapped under rubble beyond the reach of ambulances. Since the start of the assault in October 2023, the death toll has surpassed 65,000, with more than 166,000 injuries, including thousands of children whose childhoods were buried in silent graves.
The Zionist military has spared no element of life in Gaza. It has committed more than 15,000 massacres, wiping out nearly 2,700 families from the civil registry. More than 88% of Gaza’s buildings have been destroyed, with estimated losses exceeding $62 billion, and some 77% of the territory’s land seized through firepower and forced displacement.
The destruction has engulfed schools, universities, and educational institutions (532 in total), over 1,000 mosques, and 19 cemeteries. Among the dead are 1,670 medical staff, 139 civil defense personnel, 248 journalists, 173 municipal employees, and hundreds of workers in sports, policing, and other fields.

Starvation as a Weapon
Beyond bombardment, the Zionist enemy has turned hunger into a weapon. Famine has been officially declared in Gaza. Five-year-old Alaa Mohammed Al-Arja died of malnutrition—her image a stark testament to starvation as a calculated tool to erase innocent lives. More than 450 people have died so far from hunger, including 150 children, as Israel blocks essential food supplies and restricts aid trucks to less than 15% of actual needs.
Those seeking bread at Israeli-controlled distribution centers have paid dearly: 2,526 Palestinians killed and 18,511 wounded.
The Government Media Office reported that in 50 days, only 4,543 aid trucks entered Gaza out of the 30,000 expected—just 15% of what is required—illustrating the Zionist enemy’s deliberate engineering of famine and chaos.
Collapse of the Health System
Hospitals, the last lifelines, are entering stages of slow death as fuel runs out. Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital and the Eye Hospital have already shut down, leaving the wounded without treatment and patients without medicine. Doctors work with bare hands, deprived of tools, electricity, and hope, in a losing battle against death lurking in every corner.
The Health Ministry warned that fuel shortages in the remaining hospitals have reached a critical stage. Within days, vital departments could cease functioning entirely, exposing patients and the wounded to certain death. Efforts to ration electricity have become useless with the complete cutoff of fuel.
Al-Rantisi Hospital, already bombed days ago, suffered heavy damage, while the Eye Hospital—Gaza’s only general ophthalmology facility—was also struck. The ministry said the ZIonist enemy is systematically dismantling Gaza’s health services as part of a genocidal policy, noting that safe access routes to hospitals no longer exist, preventing patients and wounded from reaching them.
Even UN facilities, intended as shelters, have become death traps. UNRWA reported that between September 11–16, "Israel" targeted 12 of its facilities in Gaza City, including nine schools and two health centers that housed more than 11,000 displaced people. Its only health center in Al-Shati camp was forced to close on September 13 due to intensified bombardment and severe damage.
The Independent International Commission of Inquiry concluded on September 16 that the Zionist enemy has committed genocide, preventing reliable aid agencies, including UNRWA, from delivering life-saving assistance in order to “destroy Palestinians in Gaza materially through harsh living conditions.”
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs noted that of over 246,800 displacement movements recorded since mid-August, nearly half occurred in the past week alone, with families forced to sleep on streets or in makeshift tents, struggling to survive.
Bombs Equal to Earthquakes
Every day, the Zionist entity detonates 17 booby-trapped vehicles, each explosion equivalent to a 3.7-magnitude earthquake—turning neighborhoods into barren wastelands. This is systematic genocide, its devastation no less than a natural disaster, except that it is deliberate, cold-blooded, and human-made.
The Zionist army converts decommissioned armored vehicles into massive remote-controlled explosives, an unprecedented practice in scale and brutality. Yet, the international community offers no effective response, exposing blatant double standards and disregard for Palestinian lives.
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor confirmed that more than 17 such vehicles are detonated daily in Gaza City, each carrying the force of a 3.7-magnitude earthquake. It reported that in just the past week, about 120 booby-trapped vehicles carrying roughly 840 tons of explosives were detonated among residential homes.
In the latest escalation, the Zionist enemy intensified this tactic in three axes of Gaza City—north, east, and south—aiming to obliterate central residential blocks in pursuit of its declared goal: the destruction of the city and its inhabitants. With Gaza’s structures already fractured from nearly two years of relentless bombardment, each new explosion wreaks even greater havoc, collapsing dozens of buildings across hundreds of meters.
Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal confirmed that the Zionist enemy continues its ground incursions in Tel Al-Hawa and Sheikh Radwan, enforcing a suffocating siege on Gaza City. He reported that more than 20 booby-trapped vehicles are detonated daily in crowded neighborhoods, and that civil defense teams receive daily appeals from families trapped in buildings under Israeli fire. Many wounded remain inaccessible, buried under rubble, as rescuers are unable to reach them due to the intensity of attacks.
Forced Displacement and Demographic Change
Hundreds of thousands have been uprooted to Gaza’s south, where there is no shelter, no food, and no safety. Over 700,000 people are crammed into less than 10 square kilometers, still pursued by airstrikes in so-called “humanitarian zones.” This is a calculated plan to uproot Gaza, stripping it of its people.
The Gaza Center for Human Rights reported that the Zionist enemy is carrying out demographic engineering through forced displacement orders, compelling hundreds of thousands to relocate south of Wadi Gaza under the pretext of a “humanitarian zone,” despite its lack of basic requirements under international humanitarian law.
The policy reflects an Israeli strategy to erase Palestinian presence in Gaza City and North Gaza—once home to more than 1.3 million residents—amounting to a war crime. Heavy bombardments, booby-trapped vehicle detonations, drone attacks, and ground incursions since August 11, 2025, illustrate the Zionist enemy’s determination to enforce its October 13, 2023, evacuation plan—a plan it failed to fully achieve despite widespread killings, destruction, and starvation.
A World of Words, Not Action
UN Secretary-General António Guterres described the events as “collective punishment” and “systematic destruction,” affirming that nothing can justify what is happening. The Independent International Commission of Inquiry deemed it genocide. UNRWA confirmed its schools and health centers sheltering thousands of displaced people were bombed.
Yet, the international response has gone no further than words.
Gaza today is not merely geography under bombardment; it is a crucifixion of humanity itself. Every demolished home, every child killed by starvation or buried under rubble, is a bleeding message: the world is complicit in this crime through its silence. No one will remain untouched by the consequences of such brutality, for the Zionist entity poses a danger to all of humanity.
