With brazen arrogance and criminality, the criminal Zionist "Defence Minister" Israel Katz stands to declare a decree of death: "Whoever remains in Gaza City will be classified as a fighter or a supporter of terrorism." A sentence that condenses a project of extermination, threatening a massacre against hundreds of thousands of besieged civilians who were not deterred by plane missiles from clinging to their city, but who now face a public threat that their very existence has become a crime punishable by death.
This statement is an obituary for the United Nations, its Secretary-General and international organisations. Forty days before this explicit threat, UN experts officially announced — for the first time in the history of the "Middle East" — the spread of famine on a large scale in Gaza City. On 22 August 2025 the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification issued its catastrophic report, confirming that about 514,000 people were already living in famine, roughly a quarter of the Strip’s population, and that the number would rise to 641,000 by the end of September. The UN Secretary-General António Guterres had nothing to say but:
"We cannot allow this situation to continue without accountability," calling for an immediate ceasefire and delivery of humanitarian aid. Words that sound moral, but the enemy’s "Defence Minister" proved himself above all, and international institutions are hollow statements with no impact on reality as long as the criminal is Zionist.
The UN Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher, described the famine in Gaza as "a global shame," affirming that it is a catastrophe that could have been entirely avoided if the Israeli entity had not systematically prevented the entry of food aid. This is not only an admission of UN impotence, but a clear condemnation of an occupation that uses hunger as a weapon of war.
When the enemy’s "Defence Minister" stands and declares that remaining in Gaza equals death, it is an explicit proclamation of genocide carried out before the eyes of the world, while millions watch on screens images of children born underweight, infants who draw their last breaths in powerless incubators, and displaced people sharing a piece of bread or a dose of water.
UNICEF warned that one in five children in the Gaza Strip is born prematurely or suffers from low birth weight, amid the Israeli policy of systematic starvation that has continued for nearly two years against the Palestinians. It also called for the immediate evacuation of no fewer than 25 sick or premature infants from Gaza City incubators to save their lives, after the enemy struck Al-Helou hospital, which houses about half of these children.
UNICEF spokesperson Ricardo Peirres said the situation in Gaza City had reached a dangerous stage, adding: “It is time to move them, because Gaza City has once again become a combat zone, but where do we move them? There is no safe place for them.” He explained that evacuation means moving the children — many of them newborns — in primitive carts wrapped in blankets with portable oxygen supplies and medical drops, warning of infection risks, thermal shocks, and the possibility of supplies running out during transport.
What is happening in Gaza is no longer merely a military battle; it is an existential battle testing the world’s humanity. The officially declared famine and the overt threat of extermination place everyone before a moral test whose outcome is already evident: total collapse into complicity and silence.
Since 7 October 2023 until today, the number of martyrs rose to more than 66,148 people, including thousands of children and women, while the number of wounded exceeded 168,716 injuries, many without treatment, some without limbs or hope. In recent weeks alone, the war claimed an additional 13,280 martyrs, including children who died of hunger, cold, or under the rubble.
Death in Gaza is no longer only the result of bombing; it has other faces: hunger, thirst, disease, and lack of medicine. The Ministry of Health recorded 455 deaths due to famine and malnutrition, including 151 children, in a scene that encapsulates the brutality of the siege and the absence of human conscience.
It noted continued targeting of civilians while attempting to obtain humanitarian assistance, where in the last reported day, 4 martyrs and 57 injuries were recorded, raising the total to 2,580 martyrs and more than 18,930 injuries since the start of the war.
Israeli bombardment no longer distinguishes between home and school, or between hospital and ambulance. 38 hospitals and 96 health centres have been destroyed, and 197 ambulances disabled, rendering Gaza almost devoid of medical infrastructure. Nevertheless, doctors, nurses and medical teams continue their humanitarian struggle, despite 361 medical staff being held in enemy prisons under catastrophic health conditions.
Even neonatal wards have not been spared. At Al-Helou hospital in Gaza City, about 25 infants are held in incubators threatened with shutdown due to power cuts and lack of medicines, while shelling around them intensifies without mercy. UNICEF warned that one in five children in Gaza is born prematurely or underweight as a direct result of the siege and starvation.
The enemy army perpetrated, at dawn on Wednesday, a heinous crime against civil defence teams during their attempt to retrieve martyrs and rescue wounded at the Al-Falah school sheltering displaced persons in the Zeitoun neighbourhood east of Gaza City. Civil defence spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said this crime — added to the record of crimes — led to the martyrdom of Munther Raed al-Dahshan and the injury of seven rescue and firefighting officers, two of them in critical condition.
He pointed out that this blatant Israeli targeting of civil defence teams was not the first during the ongoing genocide war, bringing the total number of enemy attacks on these teams in the field to 27 times, and 11 attacks inside centres.
He warned that the deliberate targeting of the civil defence team at Al-Falah school — while they performed their humanitarian duty in uniform with clearly marked vehicles — shows that the enemy disregards any humanitarian laws or international charters.
He added that the targeting minutes after their arrival at the school confirms that the enemy intended to commit this crime to create a vacuum in humanitarian intervention in Gaza City.
Fleeing death is no longer an option; the roads the enemy claims are "safe" have become moving graves. The Rashid coastal road, one of the last arteries linking the north of the Strip to its south, was closed to civilians, leaving tens of thousands trapped inside a "death trap."
In southern displacement areas, 93% of tents sheltering displaced people have collapsed, leaving tens of thousands of families exposed to the elements, cold and hunger, sharing roads and poor sanitation, while population density in the Muwasi area reaches inhuman limits, with about 70,000 people per square kilometre. Approximately 125,000 of 135,000 tents have collapsed, and tens of thousands more were damaged by direct shelling or natural factors, turning into an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
UNRWA said that about half a million Palestinians remain trapped in Gaza City in an area not exceeding eight square kilometres, while about 70,000 Palestinians are crammed into every square kilometre in southern areas to which the Israeli entity urges civilians to move.
The government media office condemned the enemy’s decision to close the Rashid/Sea road, which is one of the vital arteries civilians rely on to move between Gaza governorates, saying this arbitrary measure is part of a policy of tightening, siege and collective extermination that the enemy continues to pursue against our people in the Strip.
The enemy’s claims that it allows "free movement south without searches" are misleading pretexts that hide the truth of systematic criminal practices aimed at forcibly displacing the population, endangering their lives, and depriving them of their natural right to safe movement, according to the government media office.
The United Nations itself admitted that what is happening in Gaza is "ethically, politically and legally unacceptable." UN Deputy Special Coordinator for the Peace Process Ramiz Alakbarov described the scene as a "man-made disaster," condemned the policy of collective punishment and starvation, and warned that famine had already spread from Gaza City to the central and southern areas.
He said, in a speech on Monday during a Security Council session on 'the situation in the Middle East including the Palestinian issue,' that the escalation of "Israeli military" operations across the Gaza Strip causes panic, stressing that Israeli attacks continue to bring unprecedented levels of death and destruction to Palestinians.
But these condemnations — however strong they may seem — remain words in the air, as they have not yet been translated into action that saves lives or stops the bleeding.
Despite all this death, Gaza remains resistant to collapse. Civil defence men who are targeted while retrieving victims vowed that targeting them will only strengthen their resolve to perform their humanitarian duty. Doctors working without medicine and electricity continue to save lives with primitive tools. Children born under bombardment, underweight or without incubators, carry birth certificates that attest to life's resilience in the face of Zionist killing and criminality.
What is happening in Gaza is genocide being committed against a Muslim people, executed through bombardment, starvation and siege. The tragedy has continued for 726 days, exposing the international community’s failure and revealing the falsehood of all human rights slogans.
The law governing humanity today, therefore, is the law of the jungle; there is no option for survival from this hell except the option of jihad and resistance, for Zionist criminality can hear only the voice of the gun.
