Amnesty International stated on Monday that the escalation of the Zionist military aggression against Gaza City since mid-August has led to a new catastrophic phase of mass forced displacement.

In a post on the social media platform X, the organization explained that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been forced to flee to overcrowded areas in southern Gaza Strip, which lack clean water, food, medical care, shelter, and essential infrastructure necessary for survival.

With U.S. and European support, the Zionist enemy’s military has continued since October 7, 2023, to commit crimes of genocide, siege, and starvation in Gaza. These actions have resulted in the deaths of 67,160 Palestinian civilians—mostly children and women—and injuries to 169,679 others to date, with the toll still rising.
