Since the ceasefire in Gaza came into force on Friday, following an agreement between Hamas and the Zionist enemy entity, half a million displaced people have returned to Gaza City and their homes in the northern parts of the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported the recovery of 116 bodies, the arrival of 35 martyrs, and 72 injured to hospitals in the past 24 hours. This brings the total death toll of the extermination war to 67,682 martyrs and 170,033 injuries since October 7, 2023.
According to the Civil Defense in Gaza, rescue teams are still working to recover approximately 10,000 bodies buried under the rubble, amid a severe shortage of equipment and resources and ongoing widespread destruction caused by the Zionist extermination war. The Civil Defense also revealed that its teams found children’s toys and booby-trapped canned food, confirming that the enemy deliberately planted these devices to target civilians and cause more casualties.
Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist enemy has been committing a genocide in Gaza, including killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, disregarding international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the aggression.
The genocide has resulted in over 239,000 martyrs and injured—mostly women and children—more than 9,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, widespread famine that claimed many lives including children, and extensive destruction.
