A military march and live combat exercise were held in Matnah Square and the Al-Qadhf area of Bani Matar District, Sana’a Governorate, organized by the district’s mobilization office. The event marked the second anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation and featured graduates of the Level Two “Al-Aqsa Flood” training courses.

The march began at the district center and proceeded to the combat drill site in Al-Qadhf, with the participation of Shura Council member Mohammed Salman, Deputy Governor Yahya Jum‘an, Bani Matar District Director Yahya Al-Qannous, and the district’s Mobilization Officer, Mutah Al-Mutah.

Participants carried both Yemeni and Palestinian flags, alongside national slogans rooted in the legacy of the eternal September Revolution. The march echoed the spirit of the “Promised Victory and Sacred Jihad” campaign — a clear stance in solidarity with Palestine and a declaration of support for Gaza.

The event concluded with a live combat simulation. Organizers presented the map of the mock military operation, assigned specific roles and positions to each participant, and oversaw the execution of the plan in the field.

The graduating cohort carried out their mission using various light and medium weapons, launching coordinated assaults from multiple directions to “neutralize” simulated enemy positions representing the Zionist entity and the United States. The drill showcased the combat capabilities and battlefield readiness of the mobilization forces — prepared to confront the enemies of the nation and to stand firmly with the Palestinian cause.

In attendance were Sheikh Najeeb Al-Matri, a member of the Ansar Allah Social Affairs Reconciliation Committee, along with local officials, security and executive leaders, tribal elders, and community figures from Matnah and Al-Qadhf.
