The Office of the Prime Minister organized a commemorative event on Wednesday to honor the families of its staff who were martyred, marking the annual Martyrs’ Day 1447 AH.

During the ceremony, Acting Prime Minister Al-Allamah Mohammed Meftah, alongside Acting Director of the Prime Minister’s Office Fahd Al-Ezzi, presented the families with certificates and symbolic gifts in recognition of the heroic sacrifices made by the martyrs in defending the nation, its security, stability, freedom, and independence. The tribute highlighted their role in resisting the aggression of the U.S.-Saudi-Emirati coalition and the U.S.-Israeli attacks.

In his address, Acting Prime Minister Meftah reiterated pride and reverence for the martyrs, emphasizing their extraordinary contributions from this institution and other state institutions in defending justice and upholding the word of God.

He underscored that the participation of employees in confronting the invading aggressors reflects their steadfast faith and sense of responsibility toward their homeland and its right to freedom and sovereignty.

Meftah noted that the sacrifices of members of the Public Service units will remain a shining mark in the honored pages of Yemen’s jihadist history, praying for mercy and eternal paradise for the righteous martyrs.

The ceremony was attended by former Minister of Justice Judge Nabil Al-Azzani, senior administrative leaders of the Prime Minister’s Office, and the families of the martyrs.

Following the event, the administrative leaders and staff of the Prime Minister’s Office visited the graves of Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad, Martyr Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Rahwi, fellow martyred ministers, and Martyr Mujahid Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Ghamari. They laid wreaths and recited Al-Fatiha in memory of all the martyrs.
