Yemeni tribes have never been merely a social component with traditional roles confined to a limited geographical and physical environment. Rather, they have always been the nation's safety valve. During the transformations Yemen has witnessed, they have served as a trump card, tipping the scales in favor of reforms. This strategic importance of the tribes became particularly evident during the popular revolution of September 21st.

Following the hijacked youth revolution and the subsequent consolidation of foreign presence in a blatantly colonial manner, which transformed Yemen into an American hub for managing Western and Zionist conflicts and interests in the region, the tribes, alongside all segments of the population, were writing the final chapter for these invaders, simultaneously ending the era of weakness and subjugation.

In a moment of conviction and faith in the righteousness of their cause, and with a commitment to revolutionary leadership, the Yemeni tribes found themselves at the center of the transformation process, resolutely determined to break free from collapse and end their subservience to foreign powers. They played a pivotal role in accelerating this transformation into a liberated and independent Yemen, free from dependency and guardianship.

The revolutionary fervor of the tribes—emerging from a state of fragmentation and infighting over narrow interests, and from accumulated crises on all fronts fueled by external forces—reflected a profound awareness of the realities unfolding in Yemen and its surrounding Arab and Islamic world. Dangers surrounded everyone, pressuring their aspirations to break their strength, and all possibilities for decline seemed a natural consequence of foreign hegemony, which had imposed a guardianship that paralyzed the people and stifled their aspirations.

Desperate attempts to target the tribes:

With this national movement of the tribes, the invaders realized the danger of what it could impose in Yemen in terms of a reality that preserves the system of religious and moral values and constants. Therefore, it was a strategic target of their conspiracies with the intention of penetrating it and striking it from within. On the path to this goal, they excelled in putting together various formulations of the form of targeting, including spreading sedition and creating a fragmented environment among the tribes, or polluting their faith and convictions with a soft war that is destructive and negative of the human essence, and distorted cultures that have no substance or identity, which tend to satisfy the self and fulfill desires in any way without regard for others, leading them to weakness, and being afflicted with all factors of erosion and disappearance.

Although the enemies of the nation’s stances regarding the tribes were evident in the reality of the tribes’ actual condition, to the point of labeling them as backward and barbaric, as soon as a national movement emerged in the country that carried the burden of healing from these ills, the tribes had their own remarkable movement in word and deed, so that the Yemeni tribes represented the winning card in the battle for the victory of the nation, its independence and sovereignty, as they supplied the squares with revolutionaries, logistical support and convoys of popular support and spending, as was their position in the battle to defend the revolution when the Saudi-American coalition launched its aggression against Yemen, as they were the first line of defense against which the enemies’ efforts, movements and projects were shattered, as they supplied the fronts with men and weapons, and sent convoys to support those stationed on the fronts with generosity and magnanimity, and offered martyrs who will be immortalized in the historical documentation of the jihad against the forces of hegemony and colonialism and the bloodsuckers of the peoples and the thieves of their wealth. Furthermore, during the years of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression, it was a powerful force for steadfastness and resilience, protecting the national fabric from disintegration and collapse, and strengthening the cohesion of the home front against attempts to undermine the nation from within.

This tribal mobilization dealt a fatal blow to the conspirators, who had failed to imagine that tribal pride and zeal remained defining characteristics, qualities they had worked to dilute for many years. Therefore, they resorted to updating their targeting plans, but this time the Yemeni tribes had rid themselves of many of the deadly ills that threatened the values of freedom, honor, and dignity, and had returned to their pure origins. They ended internal feuds and conflicts, and united their ranks to confront the enemies of the nation, its stability, its progress, and its development.

Religious, Moral, and Humanitarian Principles:

Just as the tribes were the decisive factor in saving the country from collapse during the years of aggression, they were also the driving force behind the support for Gaza, contributing all their resources and reflecting the deep-rooted connection of the Palestinian cause and the holy sites to their conscience.

In their support for Gaza, the Yemeni tribes, in general, demonstrated the sincerity of their belief in the centrality of the cause, based on the undeniable truth that the Zionist entity is occupying Palestinian Arab lands. The role of the tribes became prominent, while the hypocritical world remained silent or merely observing. This role revealed how the cause was truly and powerfully present in the conscience of the tribes, as it was for all Yemenis. Therefore, the outpouring of support—as witnessed by the world—in support of the Palestinians in Gaza, who were being subjected to genocide using the most heinous methods and tools at the hands of the Zionists, backed by the Americans and Israelis, was clear and powerful.

The motivations behind supporting Gaza were religious, moral, and humanitarian. Therefore, the Yemeni people's mobilization—including the tribes—was a practical expression of their commitment to these principles. During the two years of the "Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad" operations in support of Gaza, the tribes provided strong and decisive support, in addition to their weekly gatherings in various squares of the liberated areas. Their powerful voices affirmed their stance of resistance, preventing the Zionist enemies—led by US—from isolating the Palestinian people. They also declared their readiness to move into the occupied territories and fight alongside the mujahideen of the Palestinian resistance against the armed gangs of the Zionist entity, or what is called the "army."

A Heroic Mobilization

Following the farcical play written by the Zionist lobby and directed by the clown "Trump," which they termed a ceasefire agreement, the Zionists imagined that the scene, in which Yemeni tribes were at the forefront in various free squares, marching in rejection of American policy against Arabs and Muslims and issuing explicit warnings against the continued Zionist entity's violation of the region's countries, would lose its luster and that the gathering would scatter, leaving Gaza and its people to lament the great betrayal they suffered at the hands of the two-billion-strong Muslim nation. However, what transpired was a harsh slap in the face, felt by the Zionist priests even before their political leaders. The tribes continued to mobilize in their tribal gatherings, holding advanced meetings, demonstrations, and mobilization marches, declaring their readiness for jihad and confronting the murderers of children and women—Americans and Zionists.

The tribal mobilization, marked by a remarkable display of heroism, drew the attention of observers and alarmed those who harbor ill intentions towards Yemen. Last Tuesday, the leader commended this mobilization and the steadfastness of the tribes. He stated, "I extend my deepest respect and appreciation to the tribes of our dear nation who have mobilized in recent days with magnificent demonstrations, affirming their complete readiness and loyalty to the martyrs."

Unity, Steadfastness, and Confronting Any Threat:

The Yemeni tribes understand that the aggression against Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, or Syria comes within the context set by the enemies of the nation to dominate and subjugate it to the will of the Zionist entity, in an attempt to deprive it of all elements of strength, sovereignty, and independence, so that it becomes dependent on what the enemy bestows upon it from its own resources and wealth. The tribes also understand that what is called a "ceasefire" in Gaza does not mean that the enemy has repented of its continued aggression against the peoples of the nation, but rather it is a respite and a rearrangement of priorities that has been tossed about by the steadfastness of the resistance in its two wings in Palestine and the axis of resistance. Therefore, the tribes are today united in general mobilization and maximum readiness, confirming national unity and steadfastness in the position of supporting the Palestinian cause, and to confront any threat or aggressive plan targeting the homeland and its national security, and to stand as one behind the revolutionary and political leadership in facing challenges and conspiracies.

One Voice, One Message:

In all liberated areas, tribal gatherings emerged with one voice and one message to US and the axis of evil it leads. The message was a stern and confident warning to anyone who dares to threaten the security of the homeland or attempt to destabilize its internal unity. The message also unequivocally affirmed that the Yemeni people will take all necessary measures against those involved in acts of treason or collaboration with the enemies of the nation.

These mobilizations and activities stem from a firm conviction that the enemies of Yemen and the Arab nation will not cease their attempts to subdue the remaining free voices that reject American-Zionist policies in the region and refuse to accept the continued subjugation and subjugation of the people. This rejection is not limited to statements and inflammatory pronouncements, but is manifested in practical action, with all segments of Yemeni society rallying around it, spearheaded by the proud tribes, alongside the valiant armed forces with all their capabilities and strength.

This Yemeni popular movement also comes with high confidence in the leadership of the leader of the revolution for the path of liberation and breaking the hegemony of the enemies, which led to a situation in which Yemen became stronger and more determined to achieve victory for its religion, principles, and religious, moral and humanitarian constants, and not to allow entities that are foreign to the earth map, such as America and the temporary entity, to dictate Yemen’s positions, or impose ready-made templates for nihilistic positions without substance and without influence.
