The Zionist enemy forces have issued notices ordering the removal of hundreds of olive trees from the lands of the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem.
Local sources reported that the enemy forces posted the removal notices on the trees and on the façades of homes, requiring the uprooting of olive trees in the town on Friday.
The sources explained that the notices extend along the main street in the town, from the western entrance reaching the Halqum area and Marah Rabah to the south, covering a distance of approximately one kilometer, belonging to several families.
They noted that the olive trees are old, more than 35 years in age, and that the notices will ultimately affect the remaining trees as well, constituting an attempt to seize the land for settlement purposes.
The forces of the Zionist enemy and its settlers have escalated their violations and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and al-Aqsa during the past month of November.
The Palestine Information Center “Ma‘ta” documented 7,066 violations by the Zionist enemy entity in the West Bank and al-Aqsa during November 2025, during which 25 Palestinians were martyred, and 309 others were injured.
