The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy, Ali Reza Tangsiri, announced that "a missile was launched in the recent exercise that exceeds the length of the Gulf."
Tangsiri explained that "the objectives set for the (Qudrat) maneuver, which was conducted over the past few days in the Gulf, the Nazat Islands, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Sea of Oman, have been achieved," noting that "part of the capabilities of the Revolutionary Guard Navy were displayed during the exercise, particularly missile systems, including defensive missiles and surface-to-surface missiles."
He said: "In this maneuver, we used a missile with a range exceeding the length of the Persian Gulf, which is 1,375 kilometers. It is produced by the Revolutionary Guard Navy and features unique capabilities, including the ability to receive commands after launch."
He added that "all weapons used in the maneuver were entirely domestically produced," noting that "a new ballistic missile was also used, which has very high accuracy."
The Iranian official affirmed that monitoring and control are fully maintained across the Gulf, and that "our capabilities allow complete surveillance of U.S. forces."
