In evolving its methods of conflict, the enemy has shifted from traditional geographical warfare toward a far deeper and more existential battle that targets the collective consciousness and emotional fabric of the nation. This sophisticated strategy, which is being led by the United States and the Israeli entity, aims not merely at securing visible military victories but at dismantling internal cohesion and fragmenting national identity, thereby paving the way for comprehensive subjugation and long-term dependency. The campaign has transcended the battlefield to undermine the intellectual fortifications that serve as the nation's last line of defense.

The aggressive practices attributed to U.S. and Israeli policies are a comprehensive application of ongoing “psychological operations.” These are said to extend beyond weakening resistance movements to fragmenting national and political identities across the Arab world—including in “friendly” states that remain burdened by humiliating forms of dependency. Such operations reportedly employ all possible tools, including “soft methods such as art, culture, and sports,” consistent with modern mechanisms of cultural and media influence that promote normalization and dilute the centrality of Palestine as a core cause. Meanwhile, the occupation authorities’ image is being polished, while resistance movements are portrayed as “terrorism” and a source of “instability.”

A Spearhead in Shattering Trust

Psychological warfare, or what is known as the "fifth column" strategy, emerged during the Spanish Civil War (1936–1939), when General Emilio Mola spoke of supporters working from within besieged cities. This model highlights an approach that relies on engineering internal divisions through covert operatives and saboteurs who create crises that fracture social unity.

Rumors and propaganda are depicted as the primary weapons used by dominant powers—chiefly the United States and the Israeli entity—to erode identity. These tactics are rapidly evolving through advanced technologies and artificial intelligence, facilitating the creation of “failed states” without the need for a single bullet.

Rumors are described not as simple falsehoods but as complex informational engineering designed to destroy public trust and spread chaos. Such efforts reportedly employ deliberate exaggeration, distortion, or misleading interpretation of partially accurate news to influence public opinion, sow doubt, and generate confusion. The risks have intensified, particularly with the rise of social media, and even more so with AI-generated “deepfakes,” which make disinformation campaigns cheap, accessible, and effective enough to sow chaos within nations at no cost.

Propaganda—defined as a broad set of ideas, information, and falsehoods— is the overarching tool of psychological warfare within the framework of “fourth-generation warfare.” These campaigns erode targeted states slowly from within until core institutions collapse, leaving nations incapacitated and ultimately yielding to the hegemony of foreign powers.

Dependency in Exchange for Interests: Containing “Friendly” States

U.S. operations in the region include psychological operations aimed even at allied Arab states to ensure their dependency, partly through supporting elites and media outlets aligned with U.S. and Israeli interests. This pressure is exercised by explicitly or implicitly conditioning political and military support on acceptance of normalization with the Israeli entity—forcing states to abandon their central nationalist commitment to the Palestinian cause in exchange for fleeting gains.

Washington funds think tanks, media platforms, and public figures who promote “soft power methods” that erode national identity and reject what is described as the “Palestine complex.” These elites function as a de facto “fifth column,” covertly weakening the intellectual unity of societies and undermining their resistance instincts.

The U.S. is also accused of using the “war on terror” and “regional stability” as pretexts for imposing political and military guardianship, keeping states in constant anxiety, and portraying itself as the sole guarantor of stability. This is presented as a psychological tool to inhibit independent decision-making and prevent shifts away from the U.S.–Israeli agenda.

Personalization and the Moral Assassination of Leaders

To undermine states from within, Zionist strategic studies—specifically referencing Prof. Ang from the Zionist enemy's Army’s Institute for Strategic Studies— argued that creating a “failed state” must be done “slowly, quietly, and using the enemy's own citizens.” Psychological operations have reportedly advanced toward “personalization,” in which messages are targeted directly at individuals rather than being collectively addressed to masses.

Disinformation is deployed to destroy trust between citizens and state institutions, engaging in “moral liquidation” of public figures to open the door to internal conflict. Likewise, in the Ukrainian conflict, soldiers received personalized messages such as, “You are about to die, escape now,”. This represents an advanced level of demoralization, where the message of disintegration reaches the individual personally and convincingly, sometimes appearing "as if it came from a close relative of the soldier himself."

Such tactics require specialized teams that study the habits, traditions, and awareness levels of the target population to pinpoint psychological vulnerabilities.

This shift from targeting enemies to targeting allies is presented as evidence that the true objective of psychological warfare is not merely weakening armed resistance but ensuring perpetual dependency among supposedly friendly nations, thereby dissolving any core capable of supporting the central cause—Palestine.

Aggressive Psychological Warfare: Erasing Palestinian Memory

In the Israeli-Palestinian context, Israeli and U.S. actions form part of a continuous psychological warfare strategy designed not only to break Palestinian morale but to cement long-term political and cognitive dependency. The Israeli entity goes through systematic efforts to erase Palestinian collective identity by replacing original village and town names with Hebrew ones, severing new generations from their geographical and emotional heritage.

Simultaneously, intelligence-supported media messaging is said to instill fear among Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank through evacuation warnings and threats of destruction that destabilize society. Resistance movements are continuously distorted through Israeli and allied media that portray them as “extremist terrorist entities,” weakening their legitimacy both internationally and within the Arab world.

The War on Yemen: Suffering as a Psychological Weapon

In Yemen, psychological operations appear in the form of financial and media support that fuels internal divisions and sub-conflicts aimed at fracturing society. Economic blockade and destruction of infrastructure— non-military targets— are being used as tools to weaken morale by turning everyday life into continuous hardship, pressuring leadership to abandon its militant positions.

These examples demonstrate that strategies of identity fragmentation and domination are a political reality requiring sustained analytical resistance and a comprehensive national strategy rooted in awareness and unified will.

Targeting Women Through Moral Corruption

In the context of exporting misguidance, the systematic targeting of social identity through women becomes clear, as revealed by the Martyr Leader Sayyid Hussein Badruldeen al-Houthi, that adversaries pursue moral destabilization across Arab societies by promoting practices such as immodesty and pushing Muslim women into public spaces under the pretext of political or developmental participation. He argues that these calls conflict with women’s authentic contributions to household and agricultural life, which are mischaracterized by enemies as degrading.

Unified Will in Confrontation

To confront these strategies of identity fragmentation, we must obtain sustained critical efforts to expose tools of manipulation and the agents of foreign influence. In this context, the most sacred duties of enjoining good and forbidding evil, and calling to righteousness, are defined in our present time, especially as we are in direct confrontation with the most bitter enemies of the believers, specifically those who uphold the Quranic project.

The Martyr Leader Sayyid Hussein called for continuous collective action based on unified guidance rather than individual approaches that only divide the nation. The struggle must begin internally, as external adversaries infiltrate through cultural, moral, economic, and environmental corruption.

This existential challenge confirms that we are facing a model of unconventional warfare in which the adversary seeks victory by transforming free will into permanent subservience, and this attack can only be countered by a unified framework—shared goals, plans, and methods—to repair national unity. This existential confrontation represents a non-traditional form of warfare in which the enemy aims to convert free will into permanent dependency. The only effective defense is awareness, internal fortification, and moving within the Qur’anic project.
