The Jenin Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced that its unit in the town of Jaba targeted a gathering of Zionist enemy forces at the “Tarsala al-Mukhalla” settlement south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

In a statement issued on Saturday evening, the battalion said: “After reestablishing contact with one of our combat formations in the Jaba unit, they confirmed that at 3:28 PM today they targeted a gathering of Zionist enemy forces at the newly established site in the (Tarsala al-Mukhalla) settlement with dense bursts of gunfire, achieving confirmed casualties.”

This operation comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions’ response to the escalation of attacks by Zionist enemy forces against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, coinciding with the genocidal crimes, starvation war, and blockade carried out by the enemy in the Gaza Strip for over two years.
