The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Wednesday that Israeli enemy forces carried out a new incursion into areas of the southern countryside of Quneitra.

According to the agency, an enemy force consisting of three vehicles—including two Hilux pickup trucks and a Hummer—advanced from the entrance of the town of Beer Ajam toward the village of Breiqa.

The report added that enemy forces had conducted another incursion on Tuesday between the villages of Ruwayhina and Al-Mushairfa, where they set up a temporary checkpoint at the junction of the village of Umm Al-Adham in the northern Quneitra countryside. The forces also entered the village of Al-Asha, arrested one civilian, and established a temporary checkpoint between the village of Ain Al-Zaywan and the town of Kudna in the southern Quneitra countryside.

During the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, the enemy fired machine-gun rounds and illumination flares from the Tal Al-Ahmar Al-Gharbi position toward Tal Al-Ahmar Al-Sharqi in the Quneitra countryside.

The Israeli enemy continues its violations of Syrian sovereignty on an almost daily basis through incursions, the establishment of checkpoints, arrests, and acts of sabotage in various areas of southern Syria.
