Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Wednesday that Tehran believes the only solution to the Yemeni crisis lies in dialogue among all Yemeni parties and factions.

During a phone call with his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Araghchi called on all regional countries to make efforts to preserve Yemen’s unity and sovereignty, according to Iran’s official IRNA news agency.

Both ministers expressed concern over the escalating tensions in southern Yemen and voiced hope that ongoing de-escalation efforts would succeed and lead to a resolution of the existing problems.
