It has become clear that the United States is deliberately—and with open defiance—seeking to present itself as a rogue actor against the entire world through its conduct and its contempt for the legal system agreed upon by all nations. Its brutal actions in Venezuela are merely one manifestation of the state of moral emptiness that it is experiencing, which it reflects through behaviors that fall outside this legal framework, carried out in a manner marked by absolute defiance.
Following the aggression and the abduction of the Venezuelan president, Donald Trump brazenly emerged to speak of his control over Venezuelan oil, thereby revealing part of the true objectives behind the targeting operation he had initiated earlier through acts of piracy against Venezuelan vessels. Officials in his administration went further by affirming their intention to prosecute President Nicolás Maduro on U.S. soil and under U.S. laws, without the slightest regard for global public opinion.
There is no doubt that the international community today faces a historic responsibility. The unrestrained American beast is wreaking havoc on global stability, resorting to illicit gain through theft by force and the invasion of sovereign states. The deranged Trump does not care whether others accept the justifications for his actions—not necessarily because of his strength, but rather due to the state of “cowardice” that the world has adopted.
International law today retreats behind American barbarism. The world appears stripped of any legal references that regulate international relations, protect the rights of peoples, and uphold those humanitarian principles for which the United Nations has designated international observance days. U.S. behavior—true to the barbaric nature of its character—has stripped this law of its sanctity. As a result, everyone is now compelled to seek protection through force and to possess means of deterrence to safeguard themselves. Today’s logic—according to the American methodology—dictates bearing arms and being serious about using them if necessary. Meanwhile, continuing to merely lament international laws will not halt the course of American thuggery in its acts of aggression and theft of the wealth of nations.
The very America that has set an unprecedented example in violating the law will sharpen its weapons and rally followers to launch a campaign against another state under the pretext of that state’s violation of international law—an obvious double standard that reflects extreme arrogance and hubris. Today, the criminal Trump and his group celebrate the burial of the spirit of coexistence. This “success” in testing the world’s capacity to confront such thuggery will only embolden the Zionist enemy to further violate the Arab region, as it represents the other face of American Zionism.
Meanwhile, no international summit or UN Security Council meeting appears to hold any value or utility, so long as such gatherings amount to nothing more than reviewing events and debating terminology, without resulting in any action that restores matters by imposing the necessary punishment on the head of evil. Since the “veto council” has never once taken action against America—which has filled human history with crimes—it is only natural for this rogue state to become entrenched in the belief that it is greater than the world and free to do as it pleases.
Since its earliest formation, America has never been a balanced entity. It deliberately sought to possess weapons of varying destructive capacities to protect itself—not from terrorist acts, but from any objection to the terrorism it itself practices. This has been done to maintain a policy of “the carrot and the stick” according to its own vision and conditions, even when both options conflict with the right of people to control their own resources.
In the operation to storm Venezuela, the “carrot” offered by the United States to Caracas was safety from targeting in exchange for submission to U.S. directives. These included allowing the heavy crude oil Venezuela possesses to flow into U.S. territory and severing relations with countries Washington deems hostile, such as Russia, China, and North Korea. This represents blatant and irresponsible interference, underscoring the world’s urgent need—starting now—to consider how to deter this rogue state and establish boundaries that cannot be crossed.
The world has rejected the barbaric behavior in which the criminal Trump and his aides have taken pride. This same world possesses the capacity to exert pressure to force Washington to respect limits in the management of its foreign policy. Mere denunciation and condemnation achieve nothing when dealing with a rebellious state like America.
Regrettably, Russia has fallen into the Ukraine trap and has not escaped it, while China has fallen into the Taiwan trap without resolving its issue. North Korea continues to send messages to its southern neighbor through ballistic missile tests. It has become difficult to expect any of these states to play a pressuring role against America while they remain preoccupied with securing their own realities.
This is how America thinks. It does not rely solely on the tensions it creates for its adversaries, but continually updates the details in ways that keep the movements of these states confined and constrained within the framework of fears manufactured by Washington.
This does not mean that the United States is a superhuman entity. Rather, it follows a policy of staying steps ahead of others. These states—even in times of peace—do not work to impose an influential presence that would prevent entities like America from acting against the law. Nevertheless, it is now possible to exploit the global rejection of what happened in Venezuela to demand a review of the behavior of the “American devil” and to hold it accountable for its transgressions before an international court.
America does not possess everything, and it still needs what others have. Therefore, it is possible to compel it to comply with what states agree upon based on international law. It is not wise to allow this event to pass without a genuine evaluation session on the state of international law following the series of violations committed by America and the Israeli entity around the world.
