Israeli enemy forces carried out artillery shelling on areas where their forces are deployed in the Gaza Strip, in continued daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10.

Nasser Medical Complex announced early Saturday that a Palestinian was wounded by gunfire from Israeli enemy forces outside their areas of deployment in central Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Enemy military vehicles continued to open fire toward areas east of Khan Younis, while Zionist helicopter aircraft opened fire on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Enemy artillery also targeted areas of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

For his part, the Director General of the Gaza Ministry of Health, Munir Al-Barsh, said that the Gaza Strip is experiencing a humanitarian catastrophe caused by the enemy and international silence.

He added, “We are suffering from a severe shortage of medicine and scarcity of food, which has negatively affected the health of children in the Gaza Strip,” stressing that opening the Rafah crossing is the hoped-for solution to save the population of the sector.
