Mizan News Agency, affiliated with Iran’s judiciary, reported that death sentences were carried out against two members of the ISIS organization after they were convicted of participating in the bombing of a bus carrying visitors.

The agency explained that the bombing targeted a bus on the Tehran–Ilam route, leading to the killing of a child and the injury of a large number of citizens.

Iran has recently witnessed unrest in several provinces, which resulted in the destruction of public and private property, in addition to the killing of a number of members of the security forces and the Basij, as well as civilians.

These elements had exploited recent peaceful protests to stir chaos in the country. Iran has confirmed that these elements are linked to external parties, foremost among them “the Mossad” and the United States.
