The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Reza Talaei, confirmed on Monday that “the Iranian armed forces are ready and on full alert, and are monitoring Trump’s threats and Netanyahu’s incitement,” warning that “Iran’s military capabilities and defensive power are far stronger than before.”

Talaei warned that “the Iranian response to any aggression will be more painful and firmer than in the past, and our armed forces will thwart it, just as the enemy’s plot to destabilize Iran’s security from within was previously thwarted.”

He also noted that “the enemies’ objective in stirring unrest and supporting terrorists during the recent riots in Iran is to disrupt the country’s path of progress,” pointing out that “the anger of Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu is due to Iran’s stability, strength, and progress, and therefore we will continue our march of development.”

Judiciary: Military Buildup in the Region and Enemy Threats Will Not Succeed

The Head of Iran’s Judiciary, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, affirmed that “the military buildup in the region and the enemies’ threats will not succeed,” recalling that “aggression against Iran has failed in the past, and if it is repeated again, it will fail as well.”

Mohseni-Ejei stated that “the enemy is focusing on pressuring the people and their economy, and is attempting to drag the Iranian street once again toward stirring unrest and terrorist acts, but we will confront and thwart these attempts.”

Irani: Our Naval Power Is Strongly Present in International Waters and on Our Maritime Borders

For his part, the Commander of the Iranian Army’s Naval Forces, Admiral Shahram Irani, stressed that Iran’s naval power constitutes a pillar of stability in the region.

Irani pointed out that “raising the flag of the Islamic Republic thousands of kilometers away from the country’s maritime borders not only ensures the security of Iran’s commercial shipping lanes, but also reinforces Iran’s position as an effective naval power in shaping the new global order.”

He also confirmed that “the naval forces of the Iranian army have today become more advanced and capable, and are strongly present in international waters and along the country’s maritime borders.”

These statements come amid increasing talk of a potential U.S. aggression against Iran, following repeated threats by U.S. President Donald Trump and press reports indicating that Tehran has received messages regarding Washington’s intention to launch military strikes against it.
