The Enemy Entity's government announced that it will not allow foreign journalists to enter Gaza even after the reopening of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza.

This statement came during a court session regarding a petition filed by the Foreign Press Association (FPA) in the Zionist Entity, requesting permission for journalists to enter the Gaza Strip. The judges decided to postpone a ruling on the case to a later date.

Haaretz reported that a government representative informed the Supreme Court that “foreign journalists will not be allowed to enter Gaza due to security risks,” according to his statement.

The court session on Monday addressed the petition submitted by the FPA, which demands that journalists be permitted to access Gaza. The petition was first filed a year and four months ago, but the court has repeatedly approved state requests to delay a response. This is the second petition on the matter, following the rejection of the first petition at the onset of the war.

Lawyer Gilad Shir, representing the FPA, stated at the beginning of the session: “Two years after the outbreak of the war, sixteen months after submitting the petition, and three months after a significant change in the situation in Gaza, the state has not changed its position and continues to impose comprehensive restrictions.”

He added that the petitioners represent around 400 journalists from over 130 media outlets in approximately 30 countries, broadcasting in about 10 different languages, reaching hundreds of millions — if not billions — of people worldwide.
