Iran affirmed its readiness to confront Washington and the Zionist enemy entity in a message sent by Ali Akbar Velayati, adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, to Hezbollah, as the Iranian army announced its “full readiness to confront the enemy.”
The spokesperson for the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Akrami Nia, said that all defensive systems have been upgraded, noting that “the step of adding 1,000 strategic drones to the combat organization of the army’s four branches demonstrates the full readiness of the armed forces to defend the country.”
The spokesperson added: “We have always emphasized that we are ready to confront any option or scenario the enemy may consider, and if the enemy chooses the option of war, we are prepared for all possibilities under wartime conditions.”
He stressed that “in addition to drones, all other defensive systems have been upgraded and made ready. We are prepared to defend, and U.S. President Donald Trump must choose between reconciliation or war. Officials in the country have announced that the armed forces are ready for both options.”
The Iranian army spokesperson further emphasized that “if war breaks out, its scope will encompass all areas of the regional geography and all United States bases, from the occupied territories to the Persian Gulf region and the Sea of Oman, where U.S. bases are located.”
Meanwhile, Khamenei’s adviser, Ali Akbar Velayati, sent a condolence message to Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem following the death of Abdul Karim Nasrallah, the father of former Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. In the message, Velayati said that “the Islamic Republic of Iran, as the backbone of the resistance, is fully prepared to confront any external threat, especially from the United States of America and Israel, without any intention of aggression against others.”
Velayati stressed in his message to Naim Qassem that he is “certain that victory will be on the side of the Resistance Front, by Allah's willing.”
