Harun Nasir al-Din, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau and head of the Al-Quds Affairs Office, has warned of the grave danger posed by “Temple Groups” calling for large-scale incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque during the upcoming month of Ramadan.

He described these moves as a dangerous escalation and a violation of the mosque’s sanctity during the holiest month for Muslims.

In a press statement issued Wednesday, Nasir al-Din explained that this incitement is coupled with policies of harassment and forced displacement targeting Jerusalemites and Murabiteen (sentinels), aiming to impose a new reality and divide the mosque temporally and spatially.

He stressed that any harm to Al-Aqsa represents a “red line” that could trigger an explosion of the situation on the ground, calling on Palestinians to intensify their presence and stationing (Ribat) at the mosque, while urging Arab and Islamic nations to take serious action to protect the holy sites and halt “Judaization” schemes.
