Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Saturday the launch of the first wave of large-scale missile and drone attacks toward the occupied Palestinian territories, in response to the U.S.–Israeli aggression against Iran.
The Israeli enemy’s “army” stated that it had detected a barrage of missiles launched from Iran toward “Israel,” while Zionist media reported hearing explosions in the north and monitoring missile launches toward “Tel Aviv.”
Air raid sirens sounded across wide areas of northern occupied Palestine, including Haifa, amid a heightened state of security alert.
In the same context, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran declared that confronting the aggression of the criminal U.S. army and the child-killing Zionist regime, with divine assistance, had begun through the implementation of the first phase of Operation “True Promise 4.” The operation involves extensive attacks carried out by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran against regional targets belonging to the aggressor enemy.
The IRGC clarified that its missiles and drones targeted the headquarters of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, as well as other American bases in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, in addition to military and security centers in the heart of the occupied territories, with powerful strikes. It confirmed the continuation of missile and drone attacks by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, noting that supplementary information will be announced later.
The Bahrain News Agency reported that the service center affiliated with the U.S. Fifth Fleet had come under missile attack, and numerous video clips circulated documenting the precision of the strike on the base. Violent explosions were also reported in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and in various areas of Kuwait.
For its part, Iran’s Nour News Agency confirmed the launch of dozens of ballistic missiles toward “Israel.”
The head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ebrahim Azizi, threatened the United States and "Israel", stating: “We have warned before, and now you have begun a path whose end is no longer in your hands.”
Earlier, Iranian state television had affirmed that “the response will be overwhelming.”
Earlier today, the United States and the Israeli enemy entity carried out an act of aggression against Iran, targeting several provinces across the country.
