In New York, demonstrators gathered in Manhattan for a brief rally before peacefully marching through the city, chanting, "Hands off Iran now."
In California, demonstrators rallied in Los Angeles against the joint aggressions on Iran, chanting "no war on Iran" and demanding an end to US military involvement.
Other anti-war protests occurred in Chicago, Portland, Oregon, Atlanta, and other cities across the United States.
These popular demonstrations were announced by the ANSWER Coalition, an anti-war and anti-occupation organization, which stated on social media platforms that March 2 would be a national day of protest to "Stop the War in Iran."
