Ansar Allah website - Report - 17 Ramadan 1447 AH

The Palestine Information Center “Mu'ti” documented 756 Zionist violations in the occupied West Bank during the past week, resulting in the martyrdom of two Palestinians and injuries to 25 citizens with varying degrees of wounds.

In a statement issued on Friday, the center said that enemy forces carried out 164 arrests, targeting young men and formerly released prisoners. Some of these arrests took place after soldiers raided citizens’ homes and vandalized their contents.

The report added that enemy forces conducted 147 incursions into cities, towns, and refugee camps across different areas of the West Bank. These raids were accompanied by a heavy military presence and the outbreak of confrontations in several locations.

According to the center, the forces also imposed 147 cases of tightened restrictions and obstruction at military checkpoints spread between cities and villages. These measures hampered the movement of residents and caused traffic congestion and delays for civilians.

The report further documented 98 cases of road closures at the entrances of Palestinian towns and villages using iron gates or concrete blocks, which led to the isolation of entire areas from their surroundings. In addition, 87 home raids were recorded during search and arrest campaigns, during which the contents of several houses were destroyed and private property was tampered with.

Within the context of seizing Palestinian property, the report recorded nine cases of homes being taken over, with some converted into military points or positions for enemy forces.

It also noted four cases of destruction of citizens’ property, including the vandalism of facilities, vehicles, and private belongings during military incursions.

The report indicated that eight attacks targeted holy sites, as part of a policy aimed at places of worship and restricting the practice of religious rituals.

Meanwhile, settlers carried out 26 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property, including physical assaults, live fire, and the destruction of agricultural lands, all under the protection of enemy forces.

During the past month, the head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Moayyed Shaaban, stated that Israeli enemy forces and settlers carried out a total of 1,965 attacks during February, continuing an ongoing series of terrorism by the enemy entity against the Palestinian people, their land, and their property.

In the commission’s monthly report titled “Occupation Violations and Settlement Expansion Measures,” Shaaban explained that enemy forces were responsible for 1,454 attacks, while settlers carried out 511 attacks.

He noted that the largest concentration of attacks occurred in al-Khalil Governorate with 421 incidents, followed by Nablus with 340, Ramallah and al-Bireh with 320, and al-Quds with 210 attacks.

Shaaban added that these assaults varied in form, including direct physical assaults, uprooting trees, burning fields, preventing olive harvesters from accessing their lands, seizing property, and demolishing homes and agricultural facilities.

At the same time, he said, enemy forces continue to close large areas of Palestinian land under the pretext of “security,” while settlers are enabled to expand within those areas.
