A correspondent for Al Mayadeen TV reported that Zionist helicopters carried out an airborne landing operation in the vicinity of the town of Nabi Sheet in eastern Lebanon.

According to the report, the Zionist force fell into an ambush set by the resistance, resulting in intense clashes and exchanges of fire using light and medium weapons.

The correspondent also stated that three Zionist helicopters landed in the Syrian highlands opposite the Lebanese highlands in eastern Lebanon. Machine gun fire and anti-aircraft weapons were heard as the helicopters passed through the airspace.

Enemy aircraft also carried out heavy bombardment belts around the town of Nabi Sheet as part of aerial cover for the military movement in the area.

The correspondent confirmed that an enemy force fell into an ambush by the resistance in eastern Lebanon, adding that the heavy airstrikes carried out by the enemy earlier in the day on the town of Nabi Sheet indicated that a security operation was underway in the region.

He further noted that Zionist helicopters conducted intensive sweeping fire immediately after the enemy forces fell into the ambush in Nabi Sheet.

The correspondent indicated that the incident in the hills surrounding Nabi Sheet has now concluded.

Meanwhile, Zionist media reported that Hezbollah fighters confronted “Israeli” forces during the clashes around Nabi Sheet.

Zionist media also reported the outbreak of violent clashes in the area of Khiam in southern Lebanon between Israeli enemy forces and fighters from Hezbollah’s Radwan Force.

In addition, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported artillery shelling and heavy machine gun fire accompanying the movement of enemy forces in the town of Khiam in the south of the country.

According to reports, direct confrontations erupted in the area, with resistance fighters confronting attempts by Israeli forces to advance using explosive devices and Kornet anti-tank missiles.

Zionist media also indicated that “the incident is very serious, and the "Israeli army" is unable to extract the special force that is surrounded in the area.”
