Two soldiers from the Lebanese Army were killed on Tuesday following a Zionist attack carried out by an airstrike targeting a motorcycle in the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, the two soldiers were martyred when an enemy drone targeted a motorcycle they were riding on the Zibdine road in the Nabatieh district.
Earlier, the Lebanese Army had announced the death of one soldier and the injury of four others with varying degrees of wounds, two of them in critical condition, following an Israeli airstrike on a car and a motorcycle in the Qaquaiyat al-Jisr area. The injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
According to available details, the drone initially targeted a civilian car carrying four soldiers, before launching a second missile at a motorcycle driven by another soldier, as they were leaving duty.
This comes amid intensified Israeli aggression on Lebanon, which began at the start of the current month, following approximately a year and a half of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. The attacks have targeted various regions across Lebanon, with a particular focus on the south, the Bekaa in the east, and the southern suburbs of the capital, Beirut.
