Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Muftah stated that the Zionist entity has failed to achieve any significant breakthrough along the Lebanese border after nearly 20 days of confrontation, despite its considerable military capabilities.
He attributed this outcome to the resilience and combat effectiveness of Hezbollah fighters, whose actions, he said, disrupted the enemy’s plans and exposed the limits of its field capabilities.
Meftah said the developments reflect a shift in the balance of confrontation, arguing that the Zionist entity is no longer able to impose previous deterrence equations amid what he described as the growing capabilities and evolving tactics of resistance forces.
In a related context, he praised Iran for its military response to the joint US–Zionist aggression, saying it constituted a “clear lesson” in how to respond forcefully to attacks and signaled the end of an era of unchecked aggression.
He also criticized the positions of some neighboring countries, saying they should have condemned Zionist actions against Iran rather than denouncing strikes targeting US bases, describing such positions as a misalignment in political and moral priorities.
Meftah reaffirmed Yemen’s support for Iran, emphasizing a shared position in confronting external threats.
Tensions have escalated across multiple fronts in the region, including the Lebanese border with the Zionist entity and the Gulf, amid a broader confrontation involving the United States and Iran.
Iranian Armed Forces' ongoing retaliatory Operation True Promise 4 began momentarily following the launch of Washington's and Tel Aviv's most recent bout of unlawful aggression towards the Islamic Republic late last month.
American outposts across the region, including those based in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, have faced intense retaliation.
The reprisal has also hit sensitive and strategic targets in the heart of the occupied territories, including those lying in the city of Jaffa, the holy occupied city of al-Quds, the occupied port of Haifa, Be'er Sheva, which serves as the regime's technological epicenter, and the Negev Desert.
