Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced that the total toll from the Israeli enemy aggression between March 2 and April 10 has risen to 1,953 people killed and 6,303 injured.
In a statement issued Friday evening, the Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center reported that the figures reflect the cumulative impact of ongoing attacks during this period.
The statement added that, according to a new update regarding the wave of attacks that took place on Wednesday, April 8, the death toll from that day alone has risen to 357, with 1,223 people injured.
It noted that these figures remain preliminary, as search and rescue operations continue to remove debris. The statement also highlighted the presence of a very large number of human remains, which requires additional time to conduct DNA testing and confirm the identities of victims before a final toll for the April 8 attacks can be established.
